These concept images represent Francois de Menil's ideas for re-installing the Byzantine frescoes in their original location of Lysi, Cyprus. From 1997 to 2012, the frescoes were housed at the Byzantine Fresco Chapel in Houston, Texas. Dating to the 12th or 13th centuries, the frescoes are generally identified as having come from the Church of the Blessed St. Themanianos.
