In conjunction with MAVCOR's multi-year Project Cycles, the Center convenes the Sensory Cultures of Religion Research Group, which meets regularly on the Yale University campus. SCRRG invites Yale students, faculty, and other interested parties to engage with work-in-progress on topics related to the Project Cycles. The Sensory Cultures of Religion Research Group: Sensational Religion represented MAVCOR's first Project Cycle, from 2008 through academic year 2014-15. Beginning in 2015, the Sensory Cultures of Religion Research Group: Material Economies hosts conversations of interest to the second Project Cycle, which is itself scheduled to begin in 2016. Interested visitors to MAVCOR's site can review lists of current and past Research Group speakers.
