Koji Lau-Ozawa is a UCLA Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute for American Cultures, and an incoming Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at UCLA. His research focuses on the archaeology, history, and memory of Japanese American incarceration during WWII, especially as it intersects with Indigenous lands. Lau-Ozawa received his PhD at Stanford University, MA at San Francisco State University, and MA (Hons) at the University of Edinburgh.
