Cody Musselman is a doctoral candidate in Religious Studies at Yale University where she studies American Religious History. Before joining the PhD program at Yale, she received a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Kalamazoo College. While at Kalamazoo her senior thesis focused on Gettysburg as a Shrine in American Civil Religion. At Harvard Divinity School, Cody worked for the Pluralism Project, where she produced and hosted the Pluralism Podcast. Currently, her work focuses on experience as a commodity, and the role of religious experience in wellness and fitness culture in the United States.
