The items that remain with this particular wall cabinet include: a sheet of paper with instructions for use; a crucifix; the Miraculous Medal (a medal showing “Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal,” or the Madonna of the Immaculate Conception, as she reportedly appeared to the French Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830. Some believe that wearing this medal at the hour of death carries spiritual benefits.); white linen cloth or napkin embroidered with small red cross; two candles; two gilded metal arms for “candelabra.”
