This hollow plaster statue, likely French, was cast, and had an initial painted life, as Our Lady of Lourdes. She has subsequently been repainted, by hand, with acrylic paint, as the Virgin of Guadalupe, complete with red nail polish on fingers and toes as well as her more usual attributes. "Mariam Franck" inscribed into plaster on proper right of base; "Lance T" in different font on back, with part of inscription smoothed out before statue was repainted.

Original statue is ca. 1920s or 1930s, repainted ca. 1970s or 1980s.
